* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Northwestern Prowers County in southeastern Colorado...
Eastern Kiowa County in southeastern Colorado...
Northeastern Bent County in southeastern Colorado...

* Until 815 PM MDT.

* At 713 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Cheyenne Wells to near Brandon to 8 miles
southeast of Queens Reservoir, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
Sheridan Lake, Neeoshe Reservoir, Towner, Chivington, Brandon,
Neegronda Reservoir, Queens Reservoir, and Sweetwater Reservoir.

Recommended Action

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
